Introduction
This Payments, Refunds & Payout Policy (“Policy”) governs all financial transactions on Abhyashsuchi, including course purchases, digital product purchases, study material purchases, mock test access, creator and instructor earnings, and payouts.
This Policy applies to buyers (students and learners), creators, instructors, and any other user who sends or receives money through the platform. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We designed this Policy to be transparent and fair to both buyers and the creators/instructors who earn from their work on Abhyashsuchi. Where any part of this Policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer protection right you have under the law of your country or state, that local law will prevail to the extent required.
1. Scope and Definitions

| Net Earnings | The amount owed to a creator/instructor after platform commission, taxes, refunds, and chargeback adjustments. |
| Payout | The transfer of a creator’s/instructor’s withdrawable balance to their designated bank account or payment method. |
| Withdrawable Balance | The portion of Net Earnings that has cleared all holding periods and verification checks and is eligible for withdrawal. |
2. Payment Policy
2.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments through third-party, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways, which may include UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, wallets, and other methods enabled on the platform from time to time. We do not store your complete card number, CVV, or banking credentials on our own servers.
2.2 Currency and Pricing
Prices are generally displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) for Indian users, and may be displayed in other currencies for international users where supported. Currency conversion, if applicable, is handled by the payment gateway at its prevailing exchange rate, and Abhyashsuchi is not responsible for conversion rate fluctuations.
2.3 Taxes
Prices displayed may or may not include applicable taxes (such as GST), as indicated at checkout. Buyers are responsible for any taxes applicable to their purchase under their local law. Creators and instructors are solely responsible for their own income tax and any tax registration obligations arising from their earnings.
2.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change prices of courses, subscriptions, or digital products at any time. Price changes will not affect purchases already completed. Where a course or subscription is offered on a recurring basis, we will provide reasonable notice before a price change takes effect on your next billing cycle.
2.5 Discounts and Coupons
Discounts and coupon codes are valid only for the period, products, and conditions specified at the time they are issued. We reserve the right to limit, modify, or cancel promotional offers, and to void purchases where a coupon was used fraudulently or in violation of its stated terms.
2.6 Failed, Pending, and Duplicate Payments
- Failed transactions: If a payment fails but an amount is deducted from your account, it is typically reversed by your bank or payment gateway within their standard timelines. We are not liable for delays caused by banks or gateways.
- Pending payments: Course or product access is granted only after a payment is confirmed as successful by our payment gateway. Access will not be granted for payments shown as “pending” or “processing.”
- Duplicate payments: If you are charged more than once for the same purchase due to a technical error, contact [email protected] with your transaction references, and we will verify and refund the duplicate amount once confirmed.
2.7 Payment Verification
All payments are subject to verification against our internal transaction records and the payment gateway’s records before access, credit, or earnings are confirmed. We reserve the right to delay or deny access where a payment cannot be verified, or where fraud is suspected.
3. Free Content
The following are provided free of charge, subject to our Terms of Service and any usage limits displayed on the platform:
- Free Courses designated as “Free” at the time of listing
- Free Mock Tests made available without a paywall
- Free Study Materials and practice resources marked as free downloads
- Free Digital Downloads offered as promotional or introductory content
Free content is provided “as is,” is not subject to the Refund Policy in Section 4 (since no payment is made), and may be withdrawn, modified, or converted to paid content at our discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable.
4. Paid Content
Paid content includes:
- Individual course purchases (one-time payment for lifetime or fixed-term access, as specified per course)
- Digital products such as templates, guides, or toolkits
- Study materials sold individually or as part of a course
- Bundles combining multiple courses or products at a combined price
- Subscriptions and Memberships (future features) — recurring-payment access to a defined set of content, to be governed by additional subscription-specific terms disclosed at launch, including renewal cycles, cancellation windows, and proration rules
All paid content purchases are subject to the Refund Policy below, except where a specific product is explicitly marked non-refundable at the point of purchase (e.g., heavily discounted bundle deals, where applicable law permits such a restriction).
5. Refund Policy
We want refund decisions to be fair, consistent, and resistant to abuse. Accordingly, refunds are not automatic and follow the verification process below.
5.1 How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted through our official support process at [email protected], with the subject line “Refund Request,” including your order/transaction ID, registered email, and reason for the request. Refund requests made through any other channel (social media, comments, etc.) will not be processed.
5.2 Verification Process
Every refund request undergoes manual verification, which may include:
- Payment gateway verification
- Internal transaction and order verification
- Purchase history review
- Fraud detection review
- Account activity review
- Payment confirmation review
- Bank reconciliation, where required
We may request additional information or documentation from you to complete this verification before a decision is made.
5.3 Review Timeline
Refund review typically takes approximately 15–20 business days from the date a complete request is received. This timeline may vary depending on the payment gateway involved, bank processing times, the complexity of transaction verification, applicable regulatory requirements, or an ongoing fraud investigation. We will make reasonable efforts to keep you informed of significant delays.
5.4 Grounds for Refund Rejection
A refund request may be rejected where:
- The course has been substantially completed (e.g., a defined majority of lessons/modules accessed or completed)
- Digital materials or downloadable files have already been downloaded
- The request is determined, after review, to be fraudulent or made in bad faith
- Chargeback abuse or repeated refund-and-repurchase behavior is suspected
- The buyer has violated the Terms of Service in connection with the purchase
5.5 Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method wherever technically possible. Where this is not possible (e.g., the original method is no longer valid), we will work with you to arrange an alternative method permitted by our payment gateway. Bank or card-issuer processing times after we initiate a refund are outside our control and may vary.
5.6 Important — Creator and Instructor Payout Protection
This clause is important and applies to all course and paid-content purchases.
If the creator’s or instructor’s earnings from a specific purchase have already been released to them as a completed payout, or if more than 30 calendar days have passed since the date of a successful payment, that purchase may no longer be eligible for a refund, except:
- Where required under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction, or
- Where the platform, at its sole discretion, determines exceptional circumstances justify an exception (for example, a verified case of platform error, fraud, or duplicate charge)
This rule exists to protect creators and instructors from having already-earned and paid-out income clawed back after the fact, while still preserving your legal rights where mandatory law requires a longer window.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 One-Time Purchases
One-time course and product purchases do not “cancel” in the traditional sense once access has been granted; instead, they are handled under the Refund Policy (Section 5).
6.2 Subscriptions and Memberships (Future Feature)
Where subscriptions or memberships are introduced:
- You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation will stop future billing cycles but will not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or stated otherwise at signup.
- Automatic renewal: Subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will provide reasonable advance notice of upcoming renewal charges where required by law.
- Access typically continues until the end of the current paid billing cycle after cancellation.
Full subscription-specific terms will be published before this feature launches and will supplement this Policy.
7. Creator Revenue Sharing
7.1 How Revenue Sharing Works
When a buyer purchases a creator’s or instructor’s paid content, the Gross Amount is split between the creator/instructor and Abhyashsuchi according to the commission rate applicable to that content type and program tier, as disclosed to the creator/instructor at the time of enrollment in the relevant monetization program.
7.2 Adjustments to Earnings
Net Earnings for a given transaction are calculated after accounting for:

7.3 Earnings Lifecycle

8. Payout Policy
8.1 Payouts Are Not Instant
Revenue calculations and payouts are not performed instantly. Before any payout is released:
- Platform transaction records are verified against payment gateway reports
- Manual reconciliation may be performed
- Financial reports may be internally audited
- Fraud detection systems may review the underlying transactions
Only the final verified net amount will be released as a payout.
8.2 Adjustments Prior to Payout
We reserve the right to adjust a creator’s/instructor’s earnings to account for refunds, chargebacks, failed payments, payment reversals, fraudulent orders, tax corrections, or duplicate transactions identified before or after a payout request, including recovering amounts from future payouts where an adjustment is discovered after an earlier payout was made.
8.3 Payout Requests
- Payouts must be requested through the creator/instructor dashboard once your Withdrawable Balance meets any applicable minimum threshold.
- You must complete any required identity or tax verification (e.g., PAN details, bank account verification) before your first payout and periodically thereafter as required for compliance.
9. Payout Timeline
- Payout requests are subject to internal review before disbursement.
- Standard processing times will be disclosed in your creator/instructor dashboard and may vary based on payment method and verification status.
- We may require additional verification for unusually large payout requests, new accounts, or accounts flagged by fraud detection systems.
- We may delay a payout where necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or an unresolved dispute concerning the underlying transactions.
10. Chargeback Policy
A chargeback occurs when a buyer disputes a transaction directly with their bank or card issuer rather than through our refund process.
- If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first at [email protected] — this is usually faster than a bank dispute and avoids chargeback fees.
- When a chargeback is filed, we may submit evidence to the payment gateway/bank, including proof of purchase, access logs, and communication history, to contest an invalid dispute.
- Earnings associated with a charged-back transaction will be deducted from the relevant creator’s/instructor’s balance, including from future earnings if the balance has already been paid out.
- Repeated chargebacks on a buyer account may result in account suspension and restriction from future purchases.
- We reserve the right to recover losses caused by fraudulent chargebacks, including through legal action where appropriate.
11. Fraud Prevention
We use a combination of automated and manual controls to protect the integrity of payments and payouts, including:
- Identity verification for creators/instructors prior to payout
- Risk analysis and suspicious activity monitoring on both purchases and payout requests
- Payment and purchase verification against gateway records
- Cooperation with anti-money laundering (AML) obligations where applicable under Indian law or the law of relevant jurisdictions
Any account found to be engaging in fraudulent purchases, fake sales, self-dealing (e.g., buying your own course through alternate accounts to generate payouts), or manipulated transactions will have related earnings frozen and may be permanently suspended.
12. Digital Product Policy
- Digital products (courses, study materials, downloadable files) are typically delivered instantly upon successful payment confirmation.
- Download availability may be time-limited or access-limited as specified for the specific product.
- Digital products are licensed for personal use only, unless a different license is explicitly stated for that product.
- Unauthorized sharing, redistribution, resale, or public posting of purchased digital content is prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action, consistent with our Terms of Service and Copyright & DMCA Policy.
13. Platform Rights
Abhyashsuchi reserves the right to:
- Reject a refund request that does not meet the criteria in Section 5
- Delay a payout pending verification or compliance review
- Suspend withdrawals from an account under investigation
- Freeze earnings associated with suspected fraudulent activity
- Request additional verification or documentation from any user involved in a transaction
- Investigate suspicious purchase, refund, or payout activity
- Correct accounting errors, including reversing incorrectly credited earnings
- Modify commission rates and platform fees prospectively, with reasonable notice to affected creators/instructors for material changes
14. User Responsibilities
All users agree to:
- Provide accurate and current payment and payout information
- Avoid any fraudulent activity relating to purchases, refunds, or payouts
- Not abuse the refund system (e.g., repeated purchase-and-refund cycles)
- Not manipulate purchases or sales figures, including through fake accounts
- Not create duplicate accounts to circumvent limits, coupons, or fraud controls
Violation of these responsibilities may result in refund/payout denial, account suspension, or legal action, in addition to any remedies described elsewhere in our Terms of Service.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abhyashsuchi is not liable for delays, losses, or failures caused by:
- Bank processing delays
- Payment gateway failures or outages
- Network or internet connectivity issues
- Third-party payment processor errors or interruptions
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control affecting the timely processing of payments, refunds, or payouts
This Limitation of Liability should be read together with the broader Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer sections of our Terms of Service.
16. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. For users accessing Abhyashsuchi from outside India, mandatory consumer protection rights available under your local law will continue to apply to the extent that Indian law cannot lawfully override them. Disputes arising under this Policy are subject to the dispute resolution and jurisdiction provisions of our Terms of Service.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect new features (such as subscriptions, memberships, or new payment methods), regulatory changes, or operational improvements. Material changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date, and where changes materially affect active creators/instructors or pending transactions, we will provide reasonable additional notice.
