At a Glance
CBSE's Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026 has not yet been officially declared: the Central Board of Secondary Education's Controller of Examinations, Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj, told a webinar the board was targeting 30 June 2026 to close the cycle, but that date has passed without an official notification, and as of early July the result remains pending on cbseresults.nic.in. This second exam, held from 15 to 21 May 2026 for over 6.68 lakh candidates, let students who had passed the February–March Phase 1 exam (declared 16 April 2026, with a 93.70% pass rate) improve marks in up to three subjects, while students placed in Compartment retook their failed papers; those who missed three or more subjects in Phase 1 fall under Essential Repeat and must wait for the 2027 main exam. CBSE will keep the higher of the two scores per subject. Once declared, results go live on cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in, and can also be checked via DigiLocker, the UMANG app, SMS to 7738299899, or Parinam Manjusha, using roll number, school number, admit card ID and date of birth. Students who still don't clear a subject become eligible for the Class 10 Compartment Exam, expected in July with results likely in the first week of August 2026.
